Push Play

And Special Guest Ionia

The Patchogue - Medford PTA Council presents Push Play, the new teen age sensation voted Best Band on Long Island in a survey initiated by the Long Island Press! Recently selling out Irving Plaza, this band has what it takes to go the long haul. Together now for almost a year and a half, they have amassed fans all over the globe! Their song, The Life, was recently picked to be one of the feature songs on "The Biggest Loser." Recently signing under top agent Creative Artist Agency, Push Play will reach the masses not only through their music but also through their lifestyle exhibits. Starting April 1, you will be able to see their web-based series entitled "Substantialicious Push Play" which are ten minute webisodes airing daily on their website pushplaysite.com.

You will also be able to see their 30 second TV commercials on MTV advertising among other things their "Push Play for Purpose" tour which ends May 31 putting 93 million viewers on notice that they are not just your ordinary band. Why? They're donating their performance to any charity that wishes to raise funds in an effort to set an example for youths to follow.

To date, they have 25 shows under their belt with donated performances, such as this performance that will benefit the Patchogue-Medford PTA Council Cultural Arts Fund.

Also appearing, IONIA, Manhattan based rockers known for passionate vocals blended with fierce yet melodic crafting of guitar. "We've all spent a lot of time devoting ourselves to our craft, and that evolution will constantly continue", says Iona guitarist Blaise Beyhan, "but now we are finally in a position where we are creating something genuine and that's the most important thing."
