At a time when the charts were ruled
by pop-metal acts, Dokken was a major attraction throughout the 1980s. With
vocalist Don Dokken's captivating stage presence the band combined rockers
such as "Kiss of Death" and power ballads such as "Alone Again" in order to
create a number of best-selling albums. The 2010 version of DOKKEN, features
original memners Don Dokken on lead vocals and Mick Brown on drums plus
ex-Warlock guitarist Jonathan Levin and ex-Ted Nugent and Yngwie Malmsteen
bassist Barry Sparks.
The independent label Frontiers Records recently released the new album
by Danger Danger - Revolve coincides with the 20th anniversary of the
classic self titled debut release for Imagine Records, a record that went on
to become gold, spanning two US hit singles with the songs “Naughty Naughty”
and “Bang Bang“. Revolve is the first album to include new guitarist Rob
Marcello, and original members Ted Poley (vocals) , Bruno Ravel (bass) and
Steve West (drums).
Long Island's Union Jacx is about to release their studio album featuring
Bob Weir, vocals; Billy Dee, Bass; John D'Esposito, Drums; Jim Terry, Guitar
and Dennis Gaudio, Guitar
