Paula Poundstone

Appearing on stage with a stool, a microphone, and a can
of Diet Pepsi, PAULA POUNDSTONE is famous for her razor-sharp wit and
spontaneity. Paula Poundstone had her own show on ABC, aptly named, “The
Paula Poundstone Show”, has made numerous appearances on “Late Night with
David Letterman”; “Sesame Street; “To Tell the Truth” and “Comic Relief”.
Paula won an Emmy Award on PBS’s “Life and Times”. She is mostly known for
her work on NPR’s “ Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me” and frequent appearances on “A
Prairie Home Companion". She is also an avid reader and author. In 2009
Paula released her first comedy CD: I HEART JOKES: Paula Tells Them In
Maine, 60 minutes of the smartest comedy recorded live at the sensational
Stone Mountain Arts Center – because as Paula says, “It’s very hard to do it
any other way.”
