Mostly Moptop with Marci Geller

Long Island's MOSTLY MOPTOP will perform the great music of The Beatles in reverse chronological order, from the intense break-up period of LET IT BE and ABBEY ROAD all the way back to the first glorious moments of Beatlemania as it first struck the world both in the UK and the US back in 1963. This special two-hour performance will include spirited note-for-note performances of #1 Beatles hits like "Come Together," "Get Back," "Help," "Yesterday," and "I Want to Hold Your Hand" along with more obscure classics like "Sexy Sadie," "Happiness Is a Warm Gun," "Hey Bulldog," "I'm Only Sleeping," "Rain," and even the band's early instrumental "Cry For a Shadow." Just as people used to play Beatles records backwards to hear strange clues and conspiracy secrets (real or imagined), Mostly Moptop will take the audience on an incredible trip through the amazing times and tunes of the irreplaceable Fab Four - from bottom to top, from Z to A, from the end . . . to the beginning.

Marci GellerJoining Mostly Moptop for this show will be singer/songwriter Marci Geller, who will be performing critically praised originals from her solo albums Here On The Edge and Naked, as well as other soon- to-be-released songs. Geller has toured throughout the U.S and Europe, has numerous soundtrack placements on MTV, VH1, etc. and has performed on Live! With Regis and CNN Worldbeat. Over the past year, she has co-headlined "The Estrogen Tour" with fellow female singer/songwriter Cathy Kreger. This evening at Patchogue Theatre, she will be performing with a fully-loaded electric band for the first time in two years.
