The 60 piece Sousa Symphonic Band of the Patchogue Theatre opens its 2010-2011 Season kicking off Veterans’ Week with a “Salute and Tribute to the Men and Woman of the united States Armed Forces” at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 7, 2010.

Continuing the tradition John Philip Sousa established when he  brought his internationally famous concert band to the newly opened Patchogue Theatre in 1929, the Patchogue Theatre’s own symphonic band will fill the magnificently restored theatre with the stirring sounds of familiar Sousa marches and the more serious music Sousa would consider appropriate to honor the sacrifices of our veterans of past wars and those members of the armed forces who are now protecting our country throughout the world.

Tickets start at $5.00 for students, seniors & children and $8.00 for adults up to $25.00 for special seating.
