Dear Friend of the Patchogue Theatre,

The Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts is seeking contributions for our Benefactor Wall. With a tax-deductible contribution of $1,000 you may designate any name to be honored that will be engraved on a plaque the Benefactor Wall in the theater lobby. Your plaque will remain in perpetuity, and you will be ensuring the successful future of the Patchogue Theatre and maintaining the impact this historic theater has made on our community. Our community will be celebrating the 80th anniversary of the historic Patchogue Theatre this year. During its early years, the theatre has served as a gem of the arts that brought vaudeville, silent movies and talking pictures to the region. Over the course of the ensuing decades, America’s greatest films were seen on Patchogue Theatre’s giant screen The 1,200 seat theater will continue to present live events as its main focus. High on the agenda for further improvements to the theater are:

  • Develop a capacity to show motion pictures featuring classics and children’s series, and establish a Patchogue Film Festival. Update: projection system installed.
  • Create a recording studio to give prospective artists the opportunity to make recordings at an affordable fee
  • Create learning opportunities for students interested in the Performing Arts through, for example, the establishment of internships with local colleges

We hope you will consider helping us to continue our mission of becoming a cultural center for Long Island. For further information on donating to the theatre, contact us.

Sincerely,

The Board of Directors and Management
