G.E. Smith was the lead guitarist in the band Hall & Oates and the musical director of “Saturday Night Live.” He was also the lead guitarist of Bob Dylan’s touring band and for the tour of Roger Waters’ “The Wall Live.” As a session player, G.E. Smith has performed and recorded with an exceptionally wide spectrum of influential artists. In the Master Class with G.E. Smith, G.E. will explore the guitar fretboard finding new ways to look at how to get around on the guitar. He will explain how to combine notes at different places up and down the neck and why those notes fit together to convey different feelings. Mostly G.E. hopes that everyone has fun. It’s called “playing” the guitar, not “working” it as G.E. would say.
